Alison Beavis in the Department of Chemistry and Forensic science and the Centre for Forensic Science, at the University of Technology, Sydney talks to Shannon Jones about her research in taking the forensics lab to the field, with a mobile Crime Scene Investigations instrument.

Alison Beavis studied Applied Chemistry with a major in Forensic science at the University of Technology, Sydney, and she went on to enrol in a PhD project to reduce diagnosis errors in Melanoma using Analytical Chemistry. You can find out more at science.uts.edu.au
